Skorpios invites its guests to navigate through the Southern Ice Field, the second largest contiguous extra polar extent of ice in the world.
DAY 1, TUESDAYS / FRIDAY: PUERTO NATALES
Embarkation at 04:00 PM. Later in the afternoon we weigh anchor and start sailing through the Patagonian Channels including Kirke Narrowness, Morla Vicuña, Union, Collinwood, and Sarmiento.
DAY 2, WEDNESDAY / SATURDAY: EL BRUJO GLACIER & CALVO FJORD
In the morning arrival at Amalia Glacier. Enjoy the views from the ship, while sailing towards El Brujo Glacier. Depending on weather conditions, we will disembark on a rock to observe the glacier. At noon we sail towards the Calvo Fjord, where we will do excursions in a special motor boat, named Capitan Constantino, to visit Fernando, Capitan Constantino and Alipio Glaciers, among others. In the evening our sail heads towards the Las Montañas Fjord.
DAY 3, THURSDAY / SUNDAYS: LAS MONTAÑAS FJORD
Today you will explore the five glaciers of Las Montañas Fjord. We start with a visit to the Bernal Glacier, where we will do an easy Hiking to the base of the Glacier (depending on weather conditions). While sailing through the bay of the Herman Glacier you can admire the beauty of the area and multicoloured icebergs (navigation depends on the tide). Afterwards, we will visit the Alsina and Paredes Glacier. Leaving Las Montañas Fjord behind, we will cross Kirke Narrowness in the late evening.
DAY 4, FRIDAY / MONDAY: PUERTO NATALES
In the morning passenger’s disembarkation.
